Each day we will offer daily yoga classes, meditation and various add-on excursions to allow you to connect with yourself, each other and nature. Choose your own schedule and participate in everything or simply choose one or two activities and enjoy the slow pace of the day with a good book. Let's go!
At Tula, we aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for practitioners of all skill levels. All of our classes focus on healthy body alignment for a safe and sustainable practice. Tula in Sanskrit means balance and that is something we strive for both on and off the mal.
Carly has been practicing yoga since 2004 and has benefited greatly from the healing and transformative powers of practice. Carly teaches an alignment based vinyasa practice, focused on the intelligent placement of the body and breath. She finds strength and inspiration in her daily practice and looks to share that with her students. In Carly's class you can expect to be challenged and stimulated; physically, mentally and spiritually.
Jen started to develop her personal yoga practice in 2009 while living in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She first found yoga to be a tool to help find balance in the life of an educator. Combining her passion for working with people and yoga, Jenn found herself studying to get her MSW and yoga teaching certification. Jenn believes strongly in the sense of community both in and outside of her yoga classes. In Jenn's class you can expect a focus on safe alignment and introspective reflection on doing what is best for your body, mind and spirit in any given class.
