Comfort is key. We recommend breathable, moisture-wicking activewear that allows for ease of movement – think yoga pants, tank tops, and light layers. Don’t forget a swimsuit, sandals, and something cozy for the evenings. Casual, comfortable clothing is perfect both on and off the mat.
Bring any personal yoga gear you love (though we provide high-quality mats and props), comfortable clothing for warm weather, swimwear, sun protection, insect repellent, a refillable water bottle, and a journal if you enjoy reflecting. If you’re joining excursions, closed-toe shoes and a rash guard are also helpful

Tipping is never required, but always appreciated. At Sansara, gratuities can be offers to individual team members or added to your bill at check-out. If you’re joining a hosted retreat, your teacher or facilitator may have seperate guidelines. Our front desk is happy to advise on customary practices.

Yes! If you’re staying at Sansara outside of a scheduled retreat, we offer drop-in yoga classes as part of our wellness programming. It’s a great way to stay connected to your practice in a beautiful, beachfront shala – even if you’re not part of a full retreat. We also off private and small group classes upon request.
