A week to be together differently.
Family time is not always the same as time together. There are school schedules, work, meals, errands, screens, logistics, and the constant question of what needs to happen next.
Even vacations can sometimes become another version of that. So we wanted to create something different.
A week where families can step away from the usual rhythm and have enough space to actually enjoy one another.
There will be surf, yoga, movement, and adventure.
There will be sandy feet, salty hair, long meals, afternoons by the water and children discovering things for the first time.
But more than anything, there will be time.
Time to play. Time to explore. Time for children to have their own adventures. Time for parents to rest, move or simply not be responsible for every minute of the day.
And time to come back together without rushing to the next thing.
This is not an adults’ retreat where children happen to be included. The week has been intentionally created around the rhythm of family life.
Children can take part in yoga, a guided surf lesson, creative activities, culture experiences and two afternoons of kids’ camp with Staci.
FAmilies will also share adventures together, including a journey into Cerro Hoya National Park and a seasonal turtle conservation experience, while still having plenty of space for the beach, pool, rest and completely unplanned afternoons.

Join the yoga class or sleep a little longer. Head out on an adventure or stay by the water. Fill the day or leave part of it completely open.
What the week may hold…
At the heart of both weeks is Staci Bina, yoga instructor, mother and natural guide for children and families. Working with children and creating thoughtful programming is part of Staci’s everyday life. She has a way of meeting children where they are, helping them feel comfortable, included and free to express themselves.
She also understands that a meaningful family retreat needs balance. Shared experiences, Independent play and moments for parents. And enough freedom for everyone to have their own version of the week.

The children’s programming is designed for children ages six and older, while younger siblings are also warmly welcomed with separate accommodation and meal arrangements available.
Some family memories happen in the big moments. Others happen somewhere in between. A first wave. A long dinner. A new friend. A walk back from the beach. An afternoon when nobody asks what time it is. Sometimes what we remember most is simply having enough time to be together.
