Melinda is a 500 Hour Certified Baptiste Teacher who is passionate about sharing the practice of Baptiste Yoga as a lifestyle beyond the walls of a studio. She is committed to supporting others through building community and causing each and every student to discover their own greatness. As a teacher, she believes it is important that classes be challenging yet accessible for all levels. Her students are empowered both physically and mentally by stretching the boundaries of their current comfort zone and opening up access points to create possibilities in their practice and their life.

When not at home in Oregon spending time with family, friends and teaching at her two studios in the Willamette Valley, Melinda travels the world sharing yoga, leading retreats and assisting Baptiste trainings. She is an explorer of the great outdoors, a café connoisseur, and is easily inspired by life, art and a good glass of bubbles.

Nicole is a 500 Hour Certified Baptiste Yoga Teacher.  She was so empowered by the practice and inspired to share yoga with her community that she opened a studio at her home in 2011.  With the help of fellow passionate teachers, the dream of a larger studio became a reality in 2015 with the opening of Willamette Valley Power Yoga.

She teaches yoga with enthusiasm and rigor;  challenging students to find something new in each moment and to create new possibilities in their practice and in their lives.  Nicole is encouraged and motivated by the amazing community of people she has connected with through yoga. The depth and joy of the relationships continually inspires her to serve and share yoga with EVERYONE!

Nicole and her eldest daughter recently traveled to Kenya with the Africa Yoga Project.  The experience of service and connection have forever changed their lives and relationships.  Nicole is already planning her next trip back to Kenya! She can't wait to continue sharing yoga and being of service to her community here at WVPY and across the planet.  Nicole is more committed to the Baptiste community and methodology than ever before and plans to continue assisting Baptiste programs across the country.

Nicole has completed multiple Baptiste programs including Levels 1, 2 and 3, Art of Assisting, Advanced Art of Assisting, and the Baptiste Apprentice Program. When she's not teaching yoga, she assists Baptiste Trainings, travels and plays with her awesome husband, two tremendous daughters and her beloved dog.
