Teaching yoga is my dharma and it fills me with joy, purpose and passion. I was fortunate to find my calling at an early age and I traveled to India at 21 to begin my yoga studies. My early training was rooted in the lyengar tradition followed by the Ashtanga tradition and my teaching reflects a balance between focused alignment and breath-centered flow. 25 years later, my love of yoga continues to shape and guide my life, both personally and professionally.
I strive to teach a thoughtful and dynamic class, and while I emphasize good form and focus, I aim to cultivate the deeper, less tangible gifts of the practice. I am also a longtime Thai Massage practicioner, which had given me a greater understanding of mindful movement, anatomy, deep listening and loving kindness. I live between the Olympic mountains and the Salish sea and I enjoy cooking good food, laughing out loud and being a mom to a tween and two cats.
